Welcoming Arinex to the On Us Coalition

As National Child Protection Week concludes, On Us: The Australian Business Coalition for Safeguarding Children is delighted to welcome Arinex as our newest member – and the first conference and event marketing provider to join the Coalition.

Events and conferences bring together large groups of people, often in public and online spaces where children and young people may be present as attendees, performers, volunteers, or as part of the digital footprint created around these events. The scale of marketing, sponsorship, data collection, and onsite operations means there are real risks to children’s safety if safeguarding is not front of mind.

By joining On Us, Arinex is showing leadership in recognising those risks and committing to practical action so that the events and campaigns they deliver are not only world-class and inspiring, but also safe for every child and young person connected to them.

“At Arinex, we are proud to join the Australian Childhood Foundation’s On Us Business Coalition. Protecting children and young people is a responsibility we all share, and through our strong partnership with the Foundation to deliver the International Childhood Trauma Conference, we have witnessed first-hand the power of bringing people together to drive meaningful change. Just as importantly, we are committed to safeguarding children and young people who may be involved in, or exposed to, event and conference content – ensuring their wellbeing remains at the centre of everything we do.”
— Maree Di Pasquale, CEO, Arinex Group

“We are delighted to welcome Arinex as the first conference and event marketing provider to join the On Us Coalition. By joining On Us, Arinex is showing leadership in recognising those risks and committing to practical action so that the events and campaigns they deliver are not only world-class and inspiring, but also safe for every child and young person connected to them.”
— Phil Doorgachurn, Executive Director, On Us Coalition

The On Us Coalition continues to grow as businesses across diverse sectors unite around a shared vision of: business coming together so children and young people are safe wherever they are.

acknowledgement of country and abuse victims
The On Us: Australian Business Coalition for Safeguarding Children acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters across Australia in which we share. We honour and pay our respects to Elders past and present and acknowledge the many thousands of years in which First Nations’ peoples have raised their children to be safe and strong. We also acknowledge the spirit and courage of victims and survivors of childhood abuse, exploitation and violence. Their efforts over many years have inspired our commitment to make changes at every level to better protect the children of today.
